Sample Preparation and Conditioning

Test Implementation Stages
The test includes four key practices to measure resilience to various environmental conditions:
Effect of Fuel Oil: Samples are soaked in isooctane for 24 hours and then puncture tested.
High Temperature Specimens are exposed to high temperature at 60°C for 4 hours followed by a puncture test.
Effect of Acid Sweat: The specimens are placed in an acidic solution for 24 hours and then subjected to a puncture test.
Effect of Alkaline Sweat: Similarly, samples soaked in an alkaline solution for 24 hours are tested.
Results of Environmental Impacts Tests and Reporting
At the end of each test, the results are recorded and reported. These results are used to determine how resistant the product is to environmental factors and where improvements are needed. The reports contain detailed information that customers can use in their CE certification process.
