The Turkish Accreditation Agency (TรRKAK) has published Revision 08 of the R20.18 Guideline to strengthen the compliance of test reports, sampling reports and calibration certificates prepared by laboratories with international requirements. Effective 24 February 2026, the new revision aims to provide higher transparency, traceability and standardization in the reporting processes of laboratories.
In the updated guideline, the mandatory information required in test and calibration reports has been detailed, while the requirements regarding measurement uncertainty, decision rules, declarations of conformity and reference equipment used have been more clearly defined. In addition, the rules on the use of TรRKAK Document Verification System (TBDS) verification QR code in calibration certificates have been strengthened and the certificate numbering structure has been clarified.
With the revision, provisions on the use of the TรRKAK mark, unified trademark, labeling rules and the correct declaration of the scope of accreditation have also been updated. These changes both facilitate the compliance of laboratories with accreditation requirements and increase the credibility of reports submitted to customers in the national and international arena.
This update aims to further improve the quality of reporting in the laboratory sector.
