Our Industrial Certification Manager Emre Metin attended the 46th Notified Bodies (HCNB) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) meeting held at Hotel ThePresident in Brussels, Belgium on December 17-18, 2024 and made important evaluations in the closed session in the group work titled “Module C2/D”.
The closed session, focused on Module C2/D Ad Hoc discussions, addressed key updates and challenges faced by Notification Bodies under the PPE Regulation 2016/425. Highlights included revisions to Recommendation RfU 00.011, discussions on remote sampling for Module C2 and compliance requirements under the new General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988.
Emre Metin attended the meeting on behalf of USB Certification and made significant contributions to the harmonization of standards for Notification Bodies and the development of market practices for PPE certification. This participation once again demonstrates our commitment to be at the forefront of regulatory compliance and industry innovation. The outcomes from this meeting will play an important role in shaping future directives and harmonization efforts in the PPE sector and are a reflection of our commitment to safety and quality.
