USB Certification participated in Destination Africa event addressing the continent’s sustainable textile production and certification needs. Our Founder and CEO Nesrin Serin, Audit Director Erce Erceฤil and OPEX & Sales Manager Serenat Erceฤil attended the event organized in Egypt.
Focusing on Africa’s growing potential in the textile sector, the USB Certification team had the opportunity to meet with regional producers and stakeholders on sustainable production standards, organic certification processes and international market requirements.
At USB Certification, we continue to be an important part of the global sustainable textile ecosystem, processing more than 70,000 transaction certificates annually in more than 80 countries. Strengthening our presence in the African market and supporting regional manufacturers with GOTS, Better Cotton, Textile Exchange and other international standards remains among our priorities.
The event was very productive in terms of strengthening our dialog with African textile manufacturers and exploring opportunities for regional cooperation.
